Acquired competences

● Formation of an understanding of environmentally oriented engineering among applicants for education, analysis of the impact of production processes on the environment and the assimilation of modern methods and tools to reduce industrial impacts and mastering tools and methods for introducing innovations in the field of engineering.

Content module 1. Introduction to environmentally friendly industries and technologies.

Topic 1. Introduction to environmentally friendly industries and technologies. Environmentally friendly production. The role of ecology in the development of modern technologies. Basic principles of environmentally oriented engineering.
Topic 2. Fundamentals of sustainable development and environmental safety. Affects environmental safety on economic development. Basic approaches to ensuring sustainable development in industry.
Topic 3. Environmental consequences of technological processes in production. The main environmental problems that arise in industrial production. Impact of technological processes on the environment. Ways to minimize the environmental consequences of technological processes.

Content module 2. Methods and technologies to reduce environmental impact.

Topic 4. Methods of reducing harmful emissions in industry. The main types of harmful emissions arise in engineering. Ways to reduce emissions of harmful substances into the atmosphere. Modern methods of cleaning emissions are used in industry.
