Purpose

To provide systematic education in the field of process research, improvement, modernisation and efficiency of internal combustion engines with wide access to employment in enterprises for the design, manufacture, preparation for operation and
testing of modern power plants with internal combustion engines.

Objects of study

Processes of heat and mass transfer, hydrodynamics and aerodynamics, and thermal and stress conditions that occur in power plants (thermal engines, turbochargers and heat exchangers) under operating conditions.

Training of specialists capable of researching processes, designing and operating modern power plants with internal combustion engines and their systems.

The educational programme is aimed at training specialists who must master modern methods and tools for researching work processes, designing, modernising, testing and operating internal combustion engines of various types and purposes, as well as power plants using these engines.
